1. Overview

SnapDown respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

SnapDown does not host, store, or distribute any video content. Our service processes publicly available URLs in real-time. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Snapchat or Snap Inc. The use of the name "Snap" or "Snapchat" on this website is for context only; we make no claim of ownership over those trademarks. All rights belong to the original copyright owners.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed through our service, please submit a written DMCA notice to our designated agent containing all of the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work — a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  • Identification of the infringing material — the specific URL(s) or location(s) on our website where the allegedly infringing material is found, with enough detail for us to locate it.
  • Your contact information — your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy statement — a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Signature — a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Where to Send DMCA Notices

Please send all DMCA takedown notices to our designated copyright agent via email. Notices submitted through other channels may not receive a timely response.
